At Whitsunday Sports Park in Airlie Beach, GAP Industries completed sports lighting upgrade works for Musco Lighting Australia Pty Ltd at the Whitsunday AFL Oval.
The project included replacement of one 25 metre lighting pole, retrofit works to existing poles, new crossarms, installation of Musco LED fixtures and removal of superseded fittings.
Suitable existing submains were retained and integrated with the upgraded lighting system where their condition and capacity allowed.
This approach supported practical project delivery, controlled unnecessary replacement costs and allowed usable infrastructure to remain in service.
